As a home PC user, I want to make sure I understand the correct price that Amazon charges for its back-up service vs. other online backup services like Mozy.
Currently, I back up 75GB of data -- actually, I could upload an unlimited amount of data -- with Mozy for a flat $4.95 per month. If I upload that same 75GB of data to Amazon, and if I understand the pricing correctly, it would cost me $11.25 per month.
Is my math correct? (I'm not being sarcastic, as I really am bad with math; I simply multiplied 75 x 15 U.S. cents per gigabyte.)
If my math is correct, are there any advantages to using Amazon for an extra $6 per month that I'm missing?
Thanks,
Todd
